- Ken Scialo - Ken is one of the founders of the "new" Dallas Judo. He has coached several junior competitors to National Championships. He makes his living in the transportation industry.
- Miguel Plana - Miguel is one of the founders of the "new" Dallas Judo. He has been instrumental in building our junior program into the powerhouse it is today. Miguel is an electrical engineer for a prominent micro-chip manufacturer.
- Kaoru Ishii - Ishii Sensei has been in judo for 54 years. He started judo in 1952 at the age of 12 at Seishikan Dojo in Yokohama. From 1955 to 1958 at Negishi Judo Kaikan Dojo and Yokohama Midori Gaoka high school judo club under Y. Suzuki. From 1958 to 1962 he trained at Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo, Japan. In 1961 he was named captain of the college judo club. At the same time he trained at the Kodokan under Seiichi Shirai. From 1962 to 1966 he went back to train Negishi Judo Kaikan Dojo. In May of 1966 he moved to California where he taught at Redwood City Judo Club and at Sunnyvale Recreation Center. In August 1977 he moved to Texas and taught at the Plano YMCA.
- David Yoshida - David has been involved in the sport of Judo for over twenty years and has been actively competing at the national level since 1989. His competitive achievements include national place winnings at the Junior, High School, Collegiate, and Senior level. He has coached numerous juniors in Texas at the national and international level. David works for a finance company in Allen.
- Ken Patteson - Ken has won the Junior National Judo Championship, the High School National Judo Championship, the Senior National Championships twice and was a highly regarded international competitor. He was selected to coach the team of United States Elite Athletes as they prepared for the Olympics by attending several tough international events in Europe and Asia. Ken owns his own produce business.
- Gyula Kalman - 2005 World Masters Silver Medalist. Junior Hungarian national team member and senior "A" level competitor who has won the Dallas Invitational Senior Judo tournament in 2004 and 2005. He is a computer programmer working for a sport supply company.
